Amends Section 544.0504 of the Government Code to expand the scope of recovery audit contractors under the Medicaid program

Explicitly requires recovery audit contractors to identify both underpayments and overpayments within the Medicaid managed care program, in addition to the general Medicaid program

Maintains the requirement for contractors to recover identified overpayments

Aligns with federal requirements under Section 1902(a)(42) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. Section 1396a(a)(42))

Takes effect September 1, 2025
