Requires Texas public colleges and universities to include a video in their mandatory sexual harassment/assault orientation for freshmen and transfer students, covering Title IX coordinator names, office location, services, reporting procedures, crime victims' compensation program, and local/statewide support organizations

Mandates that student identification cards include contact information for the National Sexual Assault Hotline, in addition to existing requirements for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Crisis Text Line

Allows institutions to optionally include campus police/security, campus health clinic, and local suicide prevention hotline contact information on student ID cards

Orientation requirements take effect starting the 2025-2026 academic year; student ID card requirements apply to cards issued on or after the act's effective date

Passed the Senate 31-0 on April 30, 2025, and the House 94-38 on May 28, 2025; takes effect immediately with two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025
