Amends Section 571.1242(h) of the Government Code to restrict when the Texas Ethics Commission's complaint resolution deadline can be tolled (paused)

Limits tolling of the deadline to only the duration of litigation brought by either the respondent or the commission regarding the specific complaint at issue

Prohibits the Texas Ethics Commission from tolling or extending complaint resolution deadlines for any reason other than active litigation, and bars the commission from adopting or enforcing rules that would allow other extensions

Applies only to complaints filed with the Texas Ethics Commission on or after September 1, 2025; complaints filed before that date remain governed by prior law
