Modifies educational requirements for audiologist licensure to accept a master's degree in audiology conferred on or before December 31, 2007, or a doctoral degree in audiology or related hearing science for degrees conferred after that date

Removes the requirement for national accreditation from individual degree provisions and consolidates it into a single subsection requiring all degrees come from programs accredited by a commission-approved national organization recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education

Eliminates the provisional license pathway for speech-language pathologists and audiologists who are licensed in other states, while maintaining the examination waiver for applicants holding the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence

Relaxes requirements for hearing instrument sales to minors by allowing any licensed physician (not just ear specialists) to provide the required medical evaluation statement, though ear specialists are preferred when practicable

Streamlines advisory board involvement in hearing instrument rulemaking by having each chapter's rules developed with only its own advisory board rather than joint board consultation; takes effect September 1, 2025
