Authorizes the Texas Licensing and Regulation Commission to grant exemptions from academic, clinical training, or examination requirements for orthotist and prosthetist licenses to individuals who demonstrate unique qualifications to practice

Requires applicants seeking exemptions to present satisfactory evidence to the department proving they possess unique qualifications in orthotics, prosthetics, or both

Grants license holders who receive exemptions the same privileges as those who met all standard requirements, and prohibits the commission from imposing exempted requirements as conditions for license renewal

Applies only to license applications submitted on or after September 1, 2025; applications submitted before that date remain governed by prior law
