Establishes a grant program administered by the governor's office to cover expenses for local law enforcement officers attending U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) training programs under Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act

Requires agencies to apply for preauthorization before officers attend training and demonstrate that officers are primarily engaged in making arrests and meet ICE selection requirements

Covers officer salary for four weeks for basic training or one week for refresher courses, plus costs incurred due to the officer's absence including overtime pay for replacement coverage

Allows the governor's office to fund other expenses deemed necessary for participation in the immigration enforcement training program

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative approval, otherwise September 1, 2025
