Urges U.S. Congress to amend the Internal Revenue Code to make spaceports eligible for tax-exempt private activity bonds, similar to existing eligibility for airports, docks, and wharves

Texas ranks second nationally in spaceport locations and is home to NASA's Johnson Space Center and more than 2,000 aerospace establishments

The Texas Space Commission was established during the 88th Legislative Session to strengthen the state's aerospace leadership

Directs the Texas Secretary of State to forward official copies of the resolution to the U.S. President, congressional leadership, and all Texas members of Congress for entry into the Congressional Record
