Designates the fourth Thursday of March as Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day in Texas

Honors the nearly 1,000 Army Air Corps pilots, 20 bomber pilots, and 16,000 ground personnel who graduated from the Tuskegee training program between 1942 and 1946

Recognizes the Tuskegee Airmen's combat record, including over 15,000 missions flown and more than 150 Distinguished Flying Crosses earned during World War II

Acknowledges the unit's role in advancing military desegregation, contributing to President Truman's 1948 executive order ending segregation in the armed forces

The designation remains in effect for 10 years from the date the resolution is passed, per Section 391.004(d) of the Government Code
