Acknowledges TSHL's impact on more than 275 pieces of legislation over four decades, including the Silver Alert program for missing seniors, criminal penalties for senior financial abuse, and pension funding reforms

TSHL members serve on committees and hold biennial legislative sessions at the Texas Capitol to debate and vote on resolutions affecting older Texans, which are then presented to state lawmakers
