The 89th Texas Legislature pays tribute to Edwin Elmer Perryman of Tyler, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at age 71

Perryman was a lifelong Tyler resident, born August 3, 1953, who graduated from John Tyler High School in 1971 and worked 36 years for Southwestern Bell and AT&T

He is survived by his wife Sheryl, nine children, eight grandchildren, and two sisters

The resolution directs that an official copy be prepared for his family and that both chambers adjourn in his memory

Adopted by the Senate on March 4, 2025, and by the House on May 23, 2025, both by rising vote
