Texas Senate Resolution congratulating Vincent Hancock for winning a gold medal in men's skeet shooting and a silver medal in the skeet mixed team event at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics

Hancock won his historic fourth gold medal in men's Olympic skeet, joining only six athletes who have won the same event at four different Olympic Games (previous golds in 2008, 2012, and 2021)

In the 2024 individual event, Hancock hit 123 of 125 shots in qualifying and 58 of 60 in the final round on August 3, finishing one point off his own Olympic record

Hancock won silver in the mixed team event on August 5 alongside partner Austen Smith, with the duo hitting 148 of 150 shots in qualifying

Hancock served six years in the U.S. Army including the Marksmanship Unit, has won five world championships, and opened his own shooting range in Fort Worth in 2023
