Texas Senate commends Constable Clarence Yarbrough of Nacogdoches County Precinct Two for more than 50 years of law enforcement service, beginning with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office in 1974

Served as the first public relations officer for the Nacogdoches Police Department and was among the inaugural officers of the Nacogdoches Independent School District Police Department

Elected Constable of Nacogdoches County Precinct Two in 2016 and re-elected in 2020 and 2024, making him one of the longest-serving peace officers in county history

Both sons followed him into law enforcement: Jeffrey Yarbrough serves as Chief of Police at Hutto Police Department (30 years) and Clarence Dexter Yarbrough serves as Chief of Police for Manor ISD (26 years)

Has served as pastor of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church for more than 40 years concurrent with his law enforcement career
