Dr. Wall began ministry at age 17, graduated from Baylor University, and earned master of theology and doctor of theology degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary

Founded or helped establish multiple educational institutions, including Colorado Christian University (serving as its first president in 1985), Houston Bible Institute, and Foothills Institute of Biblical Studies in Colorado

Served as senior pastor of what is now BridgePoint Bible Church, dean of academic affairs for Dallas Bible College, president of Western Bible College, and professor at Grace School of Theology

Resolution adopted by the Texas Senate on May 31, 2025, extending sympathy to his family including sons Scot and Christopher, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild
