Memorial resolution honoring Roy Vincent "Andy" Anderson of Texarkana, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at age 96

Anderson was born October 22, 1928, in Patmos, Arkansas, and worked as a route delivery driver for Holsum Bread until retirement

He was a congregant of Buchanan First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, playing harmonica, gardening, fishing, and deer hunting

Survived by sons Mitch and Bruce Anderson, daughter Cindy Peeples, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; predeceased by wife Ruth (2012) and daughter Avis Annette Anderson Nix

Resolution adopted by the Texas Senate on May 31, 2025, by rising vote, with the Senate adjourning in his memory
