Supported her husband's 32-year U.S. Air Force career and later attended management school for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, subsequently working at a Texas army base

Survived by her husband, five children, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-great-grandchildren
