Texas Senate memorial resolution honoring Mack Carl Easley Sr. of Texarkana, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at age 75

Easley served with the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam, earning the Bronze Star, Silver Star, and two Purple Hearts for his actions defending Fire Support Base Rita in November 1968

After completing 12 years of military service as a physician assistant, he worked as a health administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons until retirement

Volunteered at the National Park Service Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Resolution adopted by rising vote on June 1, 2025, extending condolences to his wife Bonnie, four children, five grandchildren, and other family members
