Memorial resolution honoring Karen Anntoinette Richard of Texarkana, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at age 59

Richard held degrees from Front Range Community College and Texas A&M University (psychology and master of education), and worked in various roles including administrative assistant for the Boeing 777 development project, workers' comp representative for Washington State, and civil engineering scheduler for the U.S. Department of Defense

She taught in the Liberty-Eylau Independent School District and served as an adjunct instructor at Texarkana College

Survived by her husband of 30 years, Carl Richard; children Yvette, Delaney, Garrett, and Donovan; mother Mary Ann Holliness; and granddaughter Evelyn Rose Richard

Resolution adopted by the Texas Senate on June 1, 2025, by a rising vote, with the Senate adjourning that day in her memory
