Requests the House recede from Section 23 and adopt the Senate's original Section 20 language instead, both of which amend Section 814.103 of the Government Code

Proposed amendment prevents salary increases for district judges set by the 89th Legislature (2025) from applying to retirement annuities for judges who retired before September 1, 2025

Retirement annuities for pre-September 2025 retirees would remain calculated using the district judge salary from the 88th Legislature's appropriations (fiscal year ending August 31, 2025) until a future legislature enacts a new salary increase
