Prohibits discrimination within the Department of Defense based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation by adding Section 975 to Chapter 49 of Title 10, United States Code

Requires that eligibility qualifications for military service consider only an individual's ability to meet general occupational standards and particular military occupational specialty requirements

Defines "gender identity" as gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or characteristics regardless of designated sex at birth

Expands the definition of "sex" to include sex stereotypes, pregnancy and related medical conditions, and intersex traits

Responds directly to Executive Order 14183 issued in January 2025, which restricted transgender military service, by codifying non-discrimination protections into federal law
