Secretary of the Interior must reissue 9 Bureau of Land Management Records of Decision and Resource Management Plans within 60 days of enactment, selecting different preferred alternatives than originally approved

Affected BLM field offices include Buffalo (Wyoming), Grand Junction (Colorado), Colorado River Valley, Miles City (Montana), Rock Springs (Wyoming), Royal Gorge (Colorado), and Lakeview (Oregon)

Plans covering big game habitat conservation for oil and gas management in Colorado and Gunnison Sage-Grouse habitat must also be reissued with alternative management approaches

Reissued documents are deemed to satisfy requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act, Federal Land Policy and Management Act, and Administrative Procedure Act without additional environmental analysis

Plans were originally approved between January 2024 and January 2025; the bill mandates selection of alternatives labeled A, B, or C depending on the specific plan
