Extends VA medical care coverage for 180 days after family caregivers are removed from the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers, unless dismissed for fraud, abuse, or mistreatment

Provides employment assistance to designated primary caregivers including reimbursement of certification/relicensure fees up to $1,000 lifetime maximum, free access to VA training modules, and access to Military OneSource and Veterans' Employment and Training Service programs

Expands caregiver support services to include retirement planning, bereavement counseling following the veteran's death, and assistance transitioning away from caregiving and returning to the workforce

Requires VA and Department of Labor studies within one year on: (1) feasibility of a "returnship" program to help caregivers return to work, and (2) barriers and incentives to hiring former caregivers at VA facilities

Mandates reports to Congress on VA's efforts supporting caregiver transitions and on the feasibility of establishing individual retirement plans or retirement savings pathways for family caregivers
