Amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to allow SNAP (food stamp) benefits to be used for purchasing hot foods and hot food products ready for immediate consumption

Removes the current prohibition on using SNAP benefits for hot prepared foods, which are currently excluded from eligible food items

Limits retailer eligibility by requiring that no more than 50 percent of a store's total gross sales come from hot foods or hot food products ready for immediate consumption

Expands the definition of "staple foods" under SNAP to explicitly include hot foods and hot food products ready for immediate consumption

Introduced March 31, 2025 with bipartisan support from over 60 cosponsors and referred to the House Committee on Agriculture
