Funds remain available for voucher renewals in each fiscal year thereafter until expended

Eligible public housing agencies must administer federal housing assistance for areas with populations greater than 100,000

Targets the 25 areas in the United States that experienced the highest population growth between 2012 and 2022

Assistance distribution based on population served, extent to which existing voucher allocations fail to meet housing affordability needs, and historical shortfalls from voucher formulas not keeping pace with population growth
