Presidential designations of national monuments or land reservations under the Antiquities Act would automatically expire after 6 months or at the end of the sitting Congress, whichever comes first, unless Congress extends or modifies them by statute

Congress must affirmatively act through legislation to make any presidential monument designation permanent

If Congress does not extend a monument designation during the effective period, or explicitly rejects it by statute, the same land cannot be included in any new monument designation for 25 years

Amends Section 320301 of title 54, United States Code (the Antiquities Act of 1906)
