Male firefighters 50+ receive annual prostate-specific antigen tests, with annual testing starting at age 40 for high-risk individuals (African Americans or those with first-degree relatives diagnosed with prostate cancer at early age)

Screenings must also cover any cancer the CDC identifies as occurring at higher rates among firefighters; data may be shared with CDC for research while protecting personally identifiable information
