Includes two known aliases of the institute: the Forensic Identification Center and the Material Identification Center of the Ministry of Public Security

Entity List designation restricts U.S. exports of goods and technology to the listed organization

President may waive the requirement by certifying to Congress that the institute is not acting contrary to U.S. foreign policy interests and is not implicated in human rights abuses against Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Muslim minorities in Xinjiang
