Mandates assessment of Iranian parastatal entities (defined as having at least 25% state ownership and 2016 revenues of approximately $2 billion or more), including their emergence, leadership structures, beneficial ownership, and non-Iranian business affiliations

Requires analysis of U.S. economic sector exposure to Iranian politically affiliated persons and state-owned enterprises, specifically in banking, securities, insurance, and real estate

Directs evaluation of potential impacts from imposing debt and equity restrictions on Iranian parastatal entities or adding them to the Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals list

Report must be submitted in unclassified form with an optional classified annex to six congressional committees covering foreign affairs, financial services, and taxation
