Veterans must submit work records and educational transcripts before receiving an initial evaluation for the Veterans Readiness and Employment program

Employment assistance under the program is limited to 365 days maximum, with a possible 180-day extension if a counselor certifies the veteran is actively seeking employment

VA must report to Congress on veteran employment outcomes, including the regional office responsible and annual wages before and after program completion

VA must publicly post average wait times between when a veteran requests the program and their first counselor meeting

Within one year of enactment, VA must contract with an outside entity with vocational rehabilitation expertise to review the program and provide modernization recommendations
