Secretary of Labor must implement a human trafficking detection training program within 180 days of enactment for designated Department of Labor employees based on their official duties

Training may be conducted in-class or virtually and must cover methods for identifying suspected trafficking victims and perpetrators, along with clear referral procedures to the Department of Justice and other authorities

Special consideration required for Wage and Hour Division employees in states with significant increases in oppressive child labor violations

Secretary of Labor must submit annual reports to Congress detailing training effectiveness, number of employees trained, and number of human trafficking cases referred to DOJ and other authorities
