Since fiscal year 2012, over $69.5 million in taxpayer funds have been spent on roundup operations, with $36.7 million spent from 2020-2024 and over $6 million paid to helicopter contractors in FY 2022 alone

Directs the GAO to report within 1 year on humane alternatives to aircraft use, job creation opportunities from those alternatives, and effects of aircraft on wild horse and burro populations
