Awards 3 Congressional Gold Medals to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team for defeating the Soviet Union 4-3 on February 22, 1980, at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics

The 20-member team of amateur collegiate players won gold by also defeating Finland 4-2 in their final game, marking the first U.S. men's hockey gold medal since 1960

One medal goes to each of three locations: Lake Placid Olympic Center (New York), United States Hockey Hall of Fame Museum (Eveleth, Minnesota), and United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum (Colorado Springs, Colorado)

Secretary of the Treasury may strike and sell bronze duplicates to the public at cost-covering prices

Costs charged to the United States Mint Public Enterprise Fund, with proceeds from bronze medal sales deposited back into the fund
