Secretary of Defense must conduct a study on small arms and light weapons used by Armed Forces members that were manufactured outside the United States or made domestically by subsidiaries of foreign-owned entities

Report due to Congress and the President within 180 days of enactment

Report must include recommendations for procuring small arms and light weapons wholly manufactured in the United States by entities owned and controlled by individuals located in the United States

"Small arms and light weapons" defined by reference to section 273.3 of title 32, Code of Federal Regulations
