Secretary of Defense must design and produce the "Faithful Patriot Campaign Medal" to honor Armed Forces members and veterans who served on the U.S.-Mexico border during Operation Faithful Patriot or subsequent border operations

Medal will be issued upon request to eligible retired and former service members who served in qualifying border operations

Next-of-kin of deceased eligible individuals may receive the medal on their behalf

Secretary of Defense must prepare and disseminate an application process for eligible individuals and their next-of-kin to request the medal
