Creates a new Under Secretary of Agriculture for Fire Coordination position, appointed by the President with Senate confirmation, to coordinate federal, state, and local wildfire preparedness and response efforts

Authorizes the Secretary of Defense to deploy Department of Defense firefighters to assist with wildfire response upon request from the Secretary of Agriculture, Interior, or other relevant agency heads, with reimbursement required

Directs NIOSH to conduct research on firefighter respiratory health and PFAS/carcinogen exposure from wildfires, with $20 million annually authorized for FY2026-2031 and annual reports to Congress

Establishes $100 million supplemental firefighter assistance grant program for FY2026 for fire departments to obtain wildfire protective equipment and training, with grants capped at $1-9 million based on jurisdiction population size
