Restricts federal agencies from requiring minimum educational qualifications for cybersecurity positions unless state or local law mandates such education to perform the job duties

Allows agencies to consider a candidate's education only if it directly reflects competencies necessary for the position's duties

Applies to GS-2210 information technology management series positions and any positions designated as "cybersecurity" under the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NIST Special Publication 800-181)

Requires the Office of Personnel Management to publish annually on its website any changes to education qualification standards for covered positions and aggregate data on educational attainment of new hires by position classification

First publication deadline is one year after enactment, with annual updates thereafter
