Defines "deceptive AI-generated media" as content created through artificial intelligence or machine learning that merges, combines, replaces, or generates images, audio, or video that appears authentic but misrepresents a candidate's appearance, speech, or conduct

Exempts news organizations that acknowledge authenticity questions, periodicals that clearly label the content as inauthentic, and content constituting satire or parody

Allows affected candidates to seek injunctive relief and sue for general or special damages, with potential recovery of attorney's fees; plaintiffs must prove violations by clear and convincing evidence

Establishes that violations constitute defamation per se for purposes of defamation lawsuits
