Secretary of Defense must suspend or revoke security clearances for retired or separated Armed Forces members and DoD civilian employees who engage in lobbying activities on behalf of Chinese military companies

Targeted entities must appear on both the DoD's Chinese military company list (per section 1260H of FY2021 NDAA) and Treasury's Non-SDN Chinese Military-Industrial Complex Companies List

Secretary of Defense may grant waivers for up to 180 days if certified to congressional defense committees as in the national security interest

Applies to lobbying activities and lobbying contacts as defined under the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995
