Secretary of Defense prohibited from entering, renewing, or extending contracts with entities where an officer, director, partner, or majority owner holds a Senate-confirmed position, Schedule C position, special government employee status, or Senior Executive Service position

Prohibition extends to entities where immediate family members of the President or covered officials serve as officers, directors, partners, or hold significant ownership interests that would provide substantial financial benefit from the contract

Immediate family member defined as parent, child, sibling, spouse, or domestic partner

Secretary of Defense required to issue implementing regulations within 30 days of enactment, including definitions, thresholds, and procedures for identifying covered individuals and entities
