Local educational agencies receiving federal funds must include contact information for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, Crisis Text Line, and any state/local suicide prevention hotline on secondary school student ID cards

Agencies that do not issue physical ID cards must instead publish crisis resource information on public websites and student-used computer portals and software platforms

The Secretary of Education, coordinating with HHS, must conduct outreach campaigns to inform students, parents, and school personnel about these mental health resources, including accessible formats for people with disabilities

Agencies may optionally add school counselor contact information to student IDs and extend crisis resource information to staff identification cards

Requirements take effect one year after enactment, applying only to newly issued ID cards; existing cards do not need modification
