Adds U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to the list of DHS agencies authorized to deploy and assist in investigations of violent acts, shootings, and mass killings under section 875(d) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002

Expands the scope of authorized activities beyond investigation to include response, threat mitigation, and resolution

Currently, only U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has this deployment authority under the relevant statute; CBP would gain equivalent authority
