Repeals the work requirement in SNAP (food stamps) that disqualifies able-bodied adults without dependents who fail to meet work or training hour requirements

Eliminates the provision allowing states to receive additional funding allocations for ensuring availability of work opportunities for SNAP recipients

Approximately 6.1 million individuals currently subject to SNAP work requirements would no longer risk losing food assistance for non-compliance

Makes conforming amendments to the Internal Revenue Code and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to remove references to the repealed SNAP work requirements

Takes effect 180 days after enactment, with amendments not applying retroactively to benefits issued before the effective date
