H.R. 7595 - Superfund Area Facts and Exposure Act

• Directs the Comptroller General (GAO) to conduct a study identifying how many residential dwelling units are located within 1 mile of Superfund sites on the National Priorities List
• Requires the study to separately count dwelling units in public housing near these contaminated sites
• GAO must submit a report to Congress within 6 months of enactment with site-by-site data on nearby residential and public housing units
• Introduced by Rep. Lawler on February 17, 2026, and referred to the House Committee on Financial Services
