Prohibits knowingly possessing a firearm in or within 100 yards of a Federal election site, punishable by fine and/or up to 1 year imprisonment

Increases penalty to up to 5 years imprisonment if firearm possession is with intent to commit a crime at the election site

Exempts on-duty law enforcement officers, private security guards authorized by building management, firearms kept in vehicles (if not removed or brandished), and lawful possession in residences, businesses, or private property within the 100-yard zone

Defines "Federal election site" as any building where government employees administer polling places or process/count ballots for federal elections

Killing any person during a violation or attack on a Federal election site involving a firearm triggers murder and manslaughter penalties under existing federal law (18 U.S.C. §§ 1111, 1112, 1113, 1117)
