Prohibits recipients of State Homeland Security Grant Program funds (under sections 90005(a)(1)(B) and (C) of Public Law 119–21) from participating in Section 287(g) immigration enforcement programs or conducting civil immigration enforcement activities during the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Restriction applies from June 11, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. through July 19, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Exceptions permitted for exigent circumstances including imminent risk of death, violence, or physical harm; threats to national security; hot pursuit of individuals posing public safety risks; and imminent destruction of evidence in criminal cases
