Secretary of the Treasury must submit a report to Congress within 1 year on coordination between public and private sectors in responding to and preventing ransomware attacks on financial institutions

Report must assess whether government agencies have timely access to information reported by financial institutions following ransomware attacks and analyze the utility of current reporting requirements

Report must identify why financial institutions withhold or delay reporting ransomware attacks and recommend policy initiatives to strengthen public-private partnerships and decrease incident response time

Secretary must brief congressional committees within 15 months of enactment on the report's findings; report will be unclassified but may include a classified annex
