Secretary of Health and Human Services must conduct a comprehensive study on barriers to providers offering and patients accessing pain management during gynecologic procedures, examining factors such as insurance coverage, training, and resources.

Study requires consultation with stakeholders including patients, patient advocacy organizations, reproductive health care providers, professional medical societies, public health experts, health equity experts, and medical device manufacturers.

Report with study findings and recommendations for administrative or legislative action must be submitted to Congress within 24 months of enactment.

Pain management methods are defined as strategies to prevent, reduce, or manage physical pain associated with medical procedures.
