Resolution to formally censure Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) for her involvement in an incident at Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey on May 9, 2025

Department of Homeland Security alleges McIver participated in unauthorized entry into a secure federal ICE facility during the arrival of a bus carrying detainees, disrupting operations and endangering safety of officers and detainees

Body camera footage allegedly shows McIver assaulting and intimidating federal law enforcement officers, which violates 18 U.S.C. § 111

Requires McIver to present herself in the well of the House for public pronouncement of censure by the Speaker

Directs the House Committee on Ethics to investigate McIver and consider further disciplinary action under House rules
