Secretary of the Interior must complete all actions within 365 days to transfer approximately 40 acres at the Wounded Knee Massacre site to restricted fee status held jointly by the Oglala Sioux Tribe and Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe

Land includes surface, subsurface, and mineral estates on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota, at Rural County Road 4, Wounded Knee

Restricted fee status means the land cannot be transferred without consent of Congress and both tribes, and is exempt from state and local taxation

Land use is governed by the October 21, 2022 "Covenant Between the Oglala Sioux Tribe and the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe" and gaming activities are prohibited under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act

Land remains subject to existing private and municipal encumbrances, rights-of-way, easements, and utility service agreements in effect at enactment
