Secretary of Health and Human Services must conduct an interagency review with the Secretaries of Defense and Veterans Affairs to evaluate federal lung cancer research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment programs focused on women and populations with few known risk factors

Review must identify knowledge gaps in lung cancer research for women, evaluate environmental and genomic factors related to lung cancer etiology in women, and assess opportunities for interagency collaboration and biomarker testing advances

Review must examine strategies to improve lung cancer screening rates among populations recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and assess the need for additional public awareness and education

Report due to Congress within 2 years of enactment, submitted to Senate HELP Committee, House Energy and Commerce Committee, and both Appropriations Committees

Report must include summary of research findings, description of any changes made to federal programs based on the review, and recommendations for additional changes along with any statutory barriers to implementation
