HHS Secretary must submit a report to Congress within 18 months identifying barriers to Medicaid coverage of remote physiologic monitoring devices for pregnant and postpartum women, including pulse oximeters, blood pressure cuffs, scales, and blood glucose monitors

Report must analyze state authorities and practices for covering these devices, assess their impact on maternal health outcomes, and provide recommendations to address coverage limitations

HHS must update State Medicaid telehealth toolkits and other resources within 6 months after the report submission to reflect the recommendations

Goal is to improve maternal and child health outcomes for pregnant and postpartum women enrolled in State Medicaid programs through expanded access to remote monitoring technology
